Tito’s Next Fight – In the UFC?

So Tito and Dana have made up and Brock Lesnar’s days of being the baddest villain in the UFC seem to be over. Now I don’t really understand how you can talk so much smack and then kiss and make up, but Dana and Tito seem to have done it. That still shouldn’t mean Tito is worthy of a UFC spot. Do I want to see Tito fight? Yes. But I don’t want him get his head smashed. And Tito’s badass reputation is going to take a big hit as he has kissed Dana’s butt at this point. Tito has realized that nobody can offer him anything close to what the UFC can, so that’s probably why he is come back. Too bad it all came out so pro-wrestlish.

Ultimate Fighter: Rashad On Loss Against Machida

Rashad may not be popular against the fans, but he certainly showed that what most of us have thought about him was certainly true. In his post Machida interview, Evans talked about how he felt uncomfortable as a champ and how he underestimated Machida. By listening to him, you may think that he is actually becoming more humble. But to be honest, Machida is a couple of levels about Evans, and the fight turned out the way it did due to Machida being superior. I guess Evans is still suffering from his vicious knockout!

WEC 41: Mike Brown To Beat Faber Again

Urijah Faber is one of the most talented fighters in the world. He has dominated his weight class and has had everyone’s number except Mike Brown. Mike Brown was an underdog against Faber in their first fight, but he literally “smashed” Faber. And I have not seen anything seen to suggest that he won’t do that again. Brown is just way too consistent for Faber to win a fight against him. Faber is wreckless and too risky, which is why Brown will probably knock him out again. Brown is stronger and better in almost every area. So unlike what Faber believes, I can’t see him winning this fight unless Mike chokes this fight away.

Jackson on Kimbo, Machida, Evans

Quentin Jackson certainly knows how to entertain. And he is still upset about Rashad Evan getting in his face after the fight with Jardine. Jackson took time to bash fans who call him scared of Machida. He also took a shot at Evans for talking during the fight with Machida. Jackson is not “scared of Machida,” and since he is “not going anywhere,” Jackson is banking to get a shot at him after bashing Evans.

Jackson may live to regret his decision to fight Evans first, but his decision will probably lead to more money for him, and that’s what it’s all about. And you can’t miss the interaction between Jackson, Evans, and Kimbo Slice. The question at this point is whether Seth will be added to the show as a wild card to further boost the show.

Dana White Apologizes For Outburst

Dana White has become the center of an unwanted storm in the MMA world these days. The sharks are out to get him, and they pounced on a comment that he made about a reporter. While I don’t condone what Dana said (using slurs), I still don’t think it’s justified to blame the guy for being who he is. Everybody knows Dana isn’t the kind of person to be against the gay and lesbian community, but these fake reporters would do anything to bring down giants such as Dana. Let’s hope for the sake of the MMA world we all can move on from this as fast as possible.

Cung Le talks about his next opponent

Cung Le is still without a fight, but of course he is a busy man. He is filming his movies and waiting for Frank Shamrock to call him out. That fight is going to be exciting especially after what happened in their first fight. So let’s hope Frank can take care of Diaz.

Is Mir Playing Games With Lesnar?

Frank Mir is one of the cockiest fighters I have ever seen in the Octagon. He may look like a nice guy, but he does have his arrogant side. And the funny thing is, he never ceases to amaze me with his outrageous comments. He has talked about in the past about breaking people’s legs or taking someone’s arm home with him. He has even admitted to faking injuries, which is what I believe he is doing right now with Lesnar. Either Frank wants to push his fight to UFC 100 for a bigger pay day or he is looking to destabilize Lesnar. Here is thinking it won’t work. If Lesnar avoids Mir’s submission (a big if), Mir has no chance of winning whatsoever.

Mir needs to show up and fight Lesnar so we can move on in the heavyweight division.

Diego Sanchez Disses Joe Daddy

It seems I wasn’t the only one surprised by how easily Florian beat Joe Stevenson. Joe is a black belt but he does make a lot of mistakes for a black belt. But I wouldn’t dare call him a white belt. Diego Sanchez just has. Now, Diego is talking a lot of crap, but I do think he is going to be beat Joe Daddy. Let’s see how he holds up after cutting weight, but Diego should be the favorite.

Where the Heck is Tim Sylvia?

Tim Sylvia was at the top of the world. He was with a puncher’s chance of upsetting Fedor. He was dubbed as the toughest guy Fedor had yet to face. But after that under one minute destruction by Fedor, he was off the 2nd Affliction card. Now, if Affliction 3 happens, Tim will probably get a chance to play a role, but if they go out of business he may want to beg Dana to take him back.

His latest interview is up, and he still is not sure about his next opponent. Funny how things don’t work out they way you expect them too…

Michael Bisping Can’t Make Up His Mind

Talk about not knowing what you want. Michael Bisping seems to be unsure who he wants to face next. He talks about wanting to fight Rich Franklin but then talks about Henderson being his favorite fight. I do think that Dan Henderson would be a better match up for Bisping as Franklin would beat Bisping in my opinion. But then again, Henderson should be able to beat Bisping too. Michael hasn’t shown anything that makes me believe he belongs in the top 3 in the UFC’s 185 weight class. I guess we will find out who gets the honor of fighting Bisping soon.

Frank Mir: I Will Beat Lesnar, Again!

Frank Mir has been talking a whole lot of crapola after his win over Nog, and who could blame him. The guy was a heavy underdog against Nog, and he dominated the fight. But for him to come out and claim that Lesnar can’t get out of the first round (as he has in previous interviews) shows that either he is too confident or he is in denial. Lesnar should’ve won that fight had it not been for the ref stopping the hammer fists. And will Lesnar make the same mistake again?

Silva: Rampage Was Not Lucky

I don’t know what you think of Wanderlei Silva as a fighter, but he simply has an amazing spirit. After getting viciously knocked out by Rampage Jackson at UFC 92, he talked about how he wanted to get Jackson back, and how life moves on. I wish we all could learn from this man to put our disappointments behind us just like that.

Andrei Arlovski To Beat Fedor?

Got to give it up for Andrei Arlovski. He seems to be more dedicated to making his fight with Fedor a success. But can he avoid a takedown by Fedor? I doubt it, and if he is taken down, he will get submitted. I hope Andrei wins. I like him, and it’s about time someone beat Fedor, but I don’t see it happening. What do you think?

Forrest Griffin: Become a fighter

Forrest Griffin, the light heavyweight champ, is one of the coolest guys in the sport. He is honest about his will to fight and make money, and he doesn’t seem to have any hesitance to fight friends in the Octagon. Now, he claims that fighting is so much fun folks need to jump in if they can. I am not sure that’s a good idea for most folks. The truth is, only 1 out of 1000 of fighters actually make it, and only a handful of those actually get to where Griffin has gone. So, don’t quit your day job without a solid background.
